Today: Tracey Neikirk of the Mariners Museum

TRACEY NEIKIRK is a native of Virginia and a graduate of Radford University with a bachelors degree in History/Anthropology. After working as a seasonal park ranger for the National Park Service at George Washington's Birthplace and Jamestown Historic Site, she completed course work at Christopher Newport University for a teaching license in secondary social studies. Tracey has been at the Museum full time since April, 1994.

Education -- Did You Know?

The George F. Hixson Award is bestowed each year by the Club President on Kiwanians who have provided exceptional support to the Club and community. The Hixson was established as an opportunity for clubs to honor their members and includes a donation of $1,000 to the Kiwanis International Foundation. The award is one of the highest honors bestowed by Kiwanis.
