Children of members are invited to attend with special entertainment provided by local magician Matt Seraydarian.
Matt has performed magic shows in Williamsburg for over three years at local Elementary Schools, the Williamsburg Library Theater, and the James City Foster Care Unit. He has also done shows for community organizations and special celebrations. Matt has worked with local professional magician Penn Russell "William the Conjuror" for the past three years. He will be attend Brigham Young University-Idaho in the winter with plans to serve a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day -Saints next year. After graduating from college, Matt plans a career with magic.

Education -- Did You Know?

Kiwanis’ Future: Part 1 of 6:  The Kiwanis International Board adopted a strategic plan with a vision of the Kiwanis family becoming "the most effective adult and youth volunteer service organization worldwide." The plan defines Kiwanis’ core purpose: "to improve lives through fellowship in service worldwide." Through the next 3 - 5 years, Kiwanis will strive to achieve five goals, each with a set of strategic objectives.

-Shrimp Feast - Saturday, September 13 - Jamestown 4-H Center.  See Kim Tahey for ticket information.  For your viewing pleasure, Mike Sternberg and Joel Sheppard will promote the Shrimp Feast - August 28 - September 2 at 9:00pm on local channel 46.
- Div. 23 Council Meeting is Saturday, September 20.  Terry Johnson, Poquoson Club, will be installed as LTG, replacing
outgoing LTG, Carla Morin. And Artie Bornschein, from our club, will be installed as LTG Elect.
- Kiwanogram Ad spaces are available.  See or call Bill Perkins for more information.  Payment must be received before ad is run.
