Program:  Mind/Body Medicine and the Plane tree Philosophy             

Speaker:  Robert W. Hamilton, M.D. 

Dr. Bob Hamilton is VP of Medical Affairs at Sentara Williamsburg Community Hospital.  His medical training is in psychiatry and neurology.  As VP for Medical Affairs, Bob is responsible for performance improvement, case management review, in-patient medical staff as well as the medical staff at eight off campus sites and two urgent care centers.  Prior to arriving in Williamsburg, Bob had a distinguished medical career in Alabama.  He served as president of the Alabama Psychiatric Society and as a representative to the American Medical Association. Dr. Hamilton trained at Alabama School of Medicine.  He has a BA in Chemical Engineering from Auburn. Bob and his wife live in Williamsburg with their two sons.

Did You Know?  --  Education:  Kiwanis International Foundation - Part 6 of 9:  Kiwanis Children’s Fund: The Kiwanis Children’s Fund was created by the Foundation to provide individual Kiwanians an opportunity to make an annual gift with 100 percent of their contribution being used to fund the needs of children around the Kiwanis world. Skip A Meal: Kiwanians and non-Kiwanians participate by skipping a meal during a designated week declared by the Foundation. The estimated cost of the meal is donated to the Foundation to help fund the growing number of grants provided by the Kiwanis Children’s Fund.
