The Kiwanis Children's Council of Hampton Roads Council was formed in 1999 with a mission of identifying the needs of children and families in Hampton Roads. The clear consensus was that although there are thousands of local agencies providing valuable services to children and families, many of the services are not well known. Therefore, the Council developed KidsPriorityOne to help agencies better serve Hampton Roads families and to help those families better find the information and resources they need.
KidsPriorityOne heightens public awareness and actively disseminates information from a single source. KidsPriorityOne is a free program and is accessible through the internet at www.kidspriorityone.org or by calling the family "warm line" at 757-CHILDREN (244-5373).

Did You Know?  --  Education:  Kiwanis International Foundation - Part 2 of 9.  The Foundation financially supports the programs of Kiwanis International and its sponsored programs. The Foundation enables individual Kiwanians, Kiwanis clubs, and the general public to support national and international programs and organizations that have similar objectives and purposes. It is committed to financially assisting world wide projects that are beyond the capability of Kiwanis clubs, club foundations, or district foundations.
