Education -- TOYS TO IRAQ:  In January 2004 the Smithfield Kiwanis Club donated toys left over from a Christmas drive to the U.S. Army?s 25th Infantry Division. In mid-May they received a letter of thanks from an Army chaplain asking for more toys and included pictures of smiling Iraqi children proud of their new toys. The chaplain explained how quickly frightened children turned into joyful, happy ones with such small gifts.
