The Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg Foundation was organized in 1985.  The income from the Foundation is used annually to support the interests of young people in the local community.  The Foundation depends heavily on the generosity of members for contributions which are tax deductible.

Education --MAKING UP ATTENDANCE - Part 1 of 2:  If you miss a regular meeting of your club during a given month, you can "make up" attendance if, during that month, you do any one of the following three of seven available options:  Attend the regular meeting of any other Kiwanis club in the world.  Attend the regular meeting of your club?s board of directors.  Visit the International Office in Indianapolis or the offices of Kiwanis International in Zurich, Switzerland.

Announcements

- The Make-A-Wish Foundation, which the Club regularly supports, is holding a "Walk, Run, Bike Ride" fundraising event on Saturday, May 1, at York High School. There are registration forms at the head table for those interested in participating. The event could also use volunteers, should you choose not to enter the events. See Tom French for details.
