Our program will feature the leaders of our Sponsored Youth Clubs. The Thomas F. Delaney Award will be bestowed on a member of each of our sponsored clubs who best exemplifies the pillars of their clubs: Leadership, Service and Fellowship. Receiving the Awards this year will be; Taylor Libby from W&M Circle K, Anthony Simasek from Walsingham Academy Key Club, Rebecca "Becca" Chuckney from Lafayette HS Key Club, Sara Kay Knicely from Jamestown HS Key Club, and Chris Schulz from Walsingham Academy Builders Club.

Education --OBJECTIVES - Part 2 of 2 parts: Kiwanis International has six permanent Objectives; First three reviewed last week.  The second three are: To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.  To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities. To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and good will.

Announcements

- The Make-A-Wish Foundation, which the Club regularly supports, is holding a "Walk, Run, Bike Ride" fundraising event on Saturday, May 1, at York High School. There are registration forms at the head table for those interested in participating. The event could also use volunteers, should you choose not to enter the events. See Tom French for details.
- Last Call --  Mary Circle K club has formed a team for this year's Relay for Life on April 2 - 3 (sponsored by the American Cancer Society).  Your support would be welcome and appreciated.  If you would like to make a donation, please make checks payable to the American Cancer Society and send to C.
