History:
Founded on April 29, 1958, with
28 members. Our club is one of
9 comprising Division 23 of the Capital District.
The Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg is the third largest in the Capital District.

Today

Program:  "MOLD"
Speaker:
Joe Vance, Senior VP, Marshall Miller and Assoc.

Mold is a four letter word. However, as residents of the Williamsburg area, we live in an environment that is conducive for the growth of mold. The problem becomes more complicated by the fact that there are many types of mold, some bad some not so bad. What should you know when you discover that you have a mold problem? We will learn what we don't know about mold from our speaker today. He is Joe Vance, Senior VP and Senior Scientist with Marshall Miller & Associates. Joe is a geologist, and for the last several years has been conducting fungal investigations in public and private buildings. Assisting him is Vince Alaimo, the Assistant Branch Manager and Environmental Scientist. Vince has a background in chemistry, and has worked along with Joe in the fungal investigation field.

Invocation offered by:  Emeric Fischer
