  Mary Minor - -Candidate for State Senate

Mary Minor has been a member of the James City County/Williamsburg School Board since 1997.  She has served as Chair and Vice Chair during her tenure on the Board.  Mary is Director of Child and Family Connection, a local childcare resource and referral agency.
A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in history, Mary also did graduate study at the Rutgers University School of Social Work.
Mary and her husband Rich live in James City County and have three children.

Education -- Did You Know?

Kiwanis’ Future: Part 6 of 6:  Finance.   Kiwanis International will create the financial resources to meet the goals, objectives, and strategies outlined in the strategic plan. Kiwanis will continue to improve the quality of service to clubs and members, develop partnerships with corporations and other organizations, seek other sources of revenue, develop a flexible dues structure that is more equitable to clubs in developing nations, and increase membership worldwide.

Announcements

- WM Circle K will again provide Fall yard clean up services such as raking leaves, weeding, etc. on weekends. This year the funds we collected will go towards cystic fibrosis. Claudine Waigenfeld can be contacted at cvwaig@wm.edu and 757-221-5655.
- Parade of Homes parking.  Volunteers needed.  This is a fundraiser for the Club.  See Carol Mann or call 229-4633 to volunteer.
- Board meeting will be tomorrow (Thursday), October 9 - 5:30 PM - Williamsburg Landing.  All officers, Board members and committee chairs are encouraged to attend.
