Will
there be any food served? - There
will be hot pasta, wine, cheese and VIP hors
d' oeuvres from 6:00-7:00 PM at the VIP hour
and snacks, hors d' oeuvres, served during
the gambling event from 7:00-11:00 PM. Additional
beer and wine tickets may be purchased.
Is there a dress code? -
This is a "Black Tie and Blue Jeans"
event. Let your imagination
take over. Some may come in "modified"
formal wear, some may come in "modified"
farm
wear, or some combination therein.

What
type of gambling will be available?
- There will be roulette, craps, blackjack,
and regular poker tables in the "Las
Vegas Room". There will also be a Texas
Hold 'em Poker
Tournament room.
Will there be things for non-gamblers
to do? - Yes, plans include 3 Wii
Games,
including bowling, racing and possibly tennis.
Others will have a chance to bet on their
favorite
players or on themselves.

How
much play money do I get? - You will
receive $10,000 in Kasino Bucks which you
use to buy chips in the Las Vegas Room or
use as your entry fee into the Poker Tournament.
You can also use the money to bet on the Wi
Games. Additional Kasino Bucks can be purchased
throughout the night. Costs are $5 for another
$2500 in Kasino Bucks.
How do I win prizes? - At
any time during the evening you can "cash
out" in the lobby of
the building and you will receive Kasino Raffle
Award Tickets. There will be hourly drawings
during the evenings with the main raffle drawing
being between 10:30-11:00 PM.
At 10:30 (end of gambling), you "cash
out" at the table where you are playing
and receive
Kasino Raffle Award Tickets. They will be
color coded and will match one of the 4 tables
with
prizes.
The prize tables will have gifts that will
be raffled off in Kasino Buck dominations
of $2500.
$5000, $10,000 and $20,000. As an example,
if you have $35,000 in chips, you could receive
one $20,000 Raffle Award Ticket and three
$5,000 Raffle Award rickets. You would then
write
your name and telephone number on the back
of the tickets and drop them into the
appropriate colored bowl/table for a drawing.
You must be present to win.

Where
can I buy more money or drink tickets?
- Cash transactions will be
conducted in the building lobby. You can buy
more Kasino Bucks and drink tickets for beer
or
wine at the cash table.
How
does the Texas Hold 'em Poker Tournament work?
- The tournament is run by the World Poker
Tournament directors. There will be 7 players
per table. Players rotate dealing as per local
tournament rules (available at each table).
Players may buy more chips during the first
round only to remain in the tournament. Each
succeeding round eliminates players until
a final table of 7 players remains. The percentage
payout of the total pot will be determined
and distributed to each player based on their
standings. There will be 3 top Poker Tournament
prizes, along with Kasino Raffle
Award Tickets for entry into the prize drawings.
The rules listed are the official
rules of Kiwanis Kasino night Poker Tournament.
Kiwanis Kasino reserves the right to change
any and all tournament rules at any time without
notification.
1. Players begin play with $10,000 play money
Tournament Chips.
2. Players who lose all their chips can buy
another $10,000 of chips during the first
round only (45 minutes). One buy in is allowed
per player per night, first round only.
3. For Kasino Knight Poker nightly events
blinds increase every 15 minutes for the first
60 minutes (4 blind structures) and then 12
minutes for the rest of the tournament.
4. Players are riot allowed to sign up any
player other than themselves.
5. Players are considered away from the table
when they are not sitting in their chair when
the deal begins. Player who are away from
the table are not permitted to act in the
hand and their
cards are mucked when it becomes their turn
to act.
6. Players who are away from the table for
more than 10 minutes forfeit their chips to
the Tournament Director who may remove the
chips from play or redistribute them to the
players on that
table.
7. On duty Tournament Directors are not permitted
to play under any circumstances.
8. One player acts as dealer. This position
is called the button and it rotates clockwise
after every hand.
9. The two players to the left of the dealer
are the small blind and the big blind, respectively.
They are the only players who have money in
the pot before the cards are dealt.
10. Only the dealer should touch the chips,
make change, etc. during that persons deal.
11. The final 7 players at the final table
will split the tournament pot based on a percentage
distribution.
12. The top 3 players will win prizes along
with pot distributions which can be cashed
in for Raffle Award drawing tickets.
13. The prize tables will have gifts that
will be raffled off in Kasino Buck dominations
of $2500. $5000, $10,000 and $20,000. As an
example, if you have $35,000 in chips, you
could receive one
$20,000 Raffle Award Ticket and three $5,000
Raffle Award Tickets. You would then write
